Welcome to the Loblolly Railway!

An East Texas Tradition Since 1999

Located in the piney woods of East Texas around the town of Longview, a group of individuals have made a small impact on the communities in which they live and work.

This group of men from Nacogdoches to the South; Tyler, Big Sandy, then Mineola to the West and Shreveport-Bossier City, LA to the East have one common interest.  Their common bond?  Toy Trains!  3-rail, O gauge, toy trains.

Billed as the only traveling 3-rail, O-gauge, railroad display between Shreveport, Dallas, Houston and somewhere in Oklahoma, this group of men demonstrate toy trains to young and old alike.  While others have standoff ropes or plastic shields around their layouts or the display is too high for little kids to stand and look at, The loblolly Railway chose to have their train display at table top height with no ropes.

The crew of the Loblolly Railway encourage the youngsters to get up close and experience the fun and excitement of toy trains.  They caution the youngsters to not touch with their hands but look and see all the wonderful scenes that the displays have to offer.

Based out of Longview, Texas, the Loblolly Railway has been making a contribution to the community and those children and adults who love trains--real or toy.

Their goal, "Bring the excitement and fun of toy trains to the community in which they live by sharing their hobby."

Who are we?
